Penitentiary Service (SPNE) - Office for the Enforcement of Sanctions and Probation (OESP)
The OESP carries out the tasks assigned by the penal code to the enforcement authority and the probation authority. It prepares and makes administrative decisions relating to the application of criminal sanctions imposed on adult persons. It ensures the monitoring and control of the application of decisions from a risk and resource management perspective, prevention of the commission of new offences, and support for social (re)integration.

Your missions
You contribute to the overall management of the office by assuming coordination of criminal assessment activities. In this capacity, you carry out and coordinate the assignment of criminological assessments of persons serving a criminal sanction following the commission of serious offences, particularly violence. Carrying out this mission involves conducting interviews with the persons concerned. Within this framework, you write analytical reports aimed at assessing the risk of reoffending, highlighting risk and protective factors, and proposing recommendations for individualised care. You also lead intervision sessions focused on criminological analysis and the management of follow-up for persons involved in the assessment process. Furthermore, you work in a network with internal and external partners. Finally, you guide and support the team daily, ensuring clear work organisation as well as appropriate access to continuing education.

Your profile
Holder of a master’s degree in criminology or psychology, or an equivalent qualification, you have several years of experience in a criminal, socio-educational field or related to managing complex situations (difficult personalities, psychiatric disorders, addictions, etc.) enabling you to operate in a challenging environment. You have useful experience to carry out and supervise criminological assessments using risk assessment instruments according to PLESORR standards. With skills in team leadership and management, you demonstrate active listening. Your writing skills are recognised, as are your abilities in analysis, synthesis, and mediation. You are motivated to work in an interdisciplinary context, have good interpersonal skills, and the ability to represent authority in diverse contexts.
Prerequisites:

• residence in Switzerland;
• category B driving licence;
• clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract.

You will be sworn in.
