Parish Secretary 40%

fixed-term until 31.8.2027

Would you like to help shape this important and varied hub role supporting the pastoral team and the parish?

Your tasks include:

• Responsibility for smooth reception operations and extremely courteous care of our diverse visitors
• General secretarial duties including telephone service, answering emails, handling post
• Administrative and organisational support for the pastoral staff and the parish’s volunteer work
• Administration of baptisms, weddings and deaths
• Assisting with room reservations and liturgical scheduling
• Communication: assisting with website updates, putting up posters, distributing flyers
• Holiday cover for a team colleague

You bring with you

• Commercial or equivalent training with professional experience
• Very good PC skills (Office, CMS knowledge and experience with databases)
• Good manners, a winning personality and a warm manner in dealing with people
• Team spirit, organisational talent
• Strong communication skills and confident French language skills (native or at least C1), good German (B2), English an advantage
• Resilience and an independent, precise working style even in hectic situations
• Membership in one of the national churches and a positive attitude towards the Catholic Church
• Willingness to undertake further training
