Centre for Adult Psychiatry - Park A
Ward Park A offers adults between the ages of 18 and 60 support and assistance in crisis situations and difficult phases of life. We work according to current clinical guidelines and findings from evidence-based medicine. The recovery-oriented therapeutic concept of the ward combines disorder-specific therapy elements with general crisis intervention techniques and therapeutic milieu factors. Park A focuses on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Your Tasks
- Individual, professional care and support of patients during the night
- Active participation in shaping the therapeutic milieu of the ward
- Creating a safe and calm atmosphere
- Orientation to the ward concept in your working methods
- Thinking and acting with commitment and openness for the benefit of the patients
- Showing understanding towards patients and their individual psychological and somatic issues
Your Profile
- You have completed training as a Dipl. Registered Nurse HF
- You have an interest in the psychiatric field
- You enjoy working independently and can make targeted decisions
- You have experience with crisis management and de-escalation
- You are open-minded and enjoy working with patients who have to cope with crises and seek ways to live with their illness in a way that makes them feel comfortable
- You approach them with empathy and openness
- You are a team-oriented, communicative and prudent personality and can make independent decisions for the benefit of the patients
