The Competence Center for Auditing led by Prof. Florian Eugster at the University of St.Gallen conducts research in the field of Internal Auditing, Auditing & Finance. Our core competencies lie in teaching, research, and continuing education for executives. Student assistants are fully integrated into the team and gain hands-on insight into the activities of the competence center.

• Advance your research interests in the areas of Accounting, Auditing, and Business Valuation
• Contribute to teaching at the Bachelor and Master levels (e.g., Financial Accounting, Auditing, Financial Statement Analysis, Valuation)
• Actively support ongoing research projects, including data collection, empirical analyses, and publication activities

• Strong interest in academic work and enjoyment of structured, independent work in research, teaching, and organization
• Excellent academic performance with a Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance 
• Very good written and spoken English and German skills
• Confident use of MS Office; experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Stata, Python) is an advantage
