Today FC Basel. Tomorrow Zurich Trade Fair. The day after tomorrow a congress and in between an exclusive menu for 1,000 guests at a corporate event.

You operate in the lively environment of event catering at top locations in Basel and Zurich – from the trade fair to the Congress Centre to the Musical Theatre or Stadtcasino. The Job

As Senior Inhouse Sales Manager, you inspire our clients with exceptional catering experiences at the most attractive event and trade fair locations in Basel and Zurich. You advise our clients competently and personally and transform their wishes into successful bookings with your sales talent.
You accompany enquiries from individual consultation and offer preparation to successful contract conclusion and then take over the administrative event coordination. In doing so, you work closely with our operational teams and ensure a smooth handover of the events.
You maintain existing customer relationships, identify additional sales potential and actively contribute to the success of Wassermann Catering with your initiative and your sense of our clients’ needs. You combine sales strength with organisational talent and enjoy customer contact as much as the careful administrative support of your orders.

Your Profile

• Completed training in gastronomy or hotel management, ideally supplemented by further training in sales
• At least five years of experience in active B2B sales of event, trade fair or catering services
• Proven sales success and enjoyment of active, personal and telephone sales
• Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and a confident, convincing manner
• Experience in administrative event coordination as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Organisational talent, flexibility and the ability to keep an overview even with several parallel enquiries
• High quality awareness, sound industry knowledge and passion for gastronomy and events
• Confident handling of common office applications and digital tools
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
