With the modernisation programme SZU_4.0, we are shaping the future of SZU and developing into the most modern suburban railway in Switzerland. For this journey, we are looking for an experienced personality in corporate development who analyses complex topics in a structured way, drives strategic initiatives forward, and develops sustainable solutions together with a wide range of stakeholders. In this newly created role, you will work closely with the Head of Corporate Development and take on a key role in cross-departmental initiatives and strategic projects. You will operate at the interface between management and specialist departments and contribute to actively shaping the future of SZU.

Your responsibilities

• You lead the cross-departmental project "Target Images and Target Processes of Rail Production 2035+" in close collaboration with the business developers of the specialist departments as well as the programme managers.
• You take on a decisive role in the project "Overall Integration of the ERTMS Programme".
• You analyse complex strategic and operational issues, develop concrete initiatives and projects from them, and independently lead pragmatic and implementable solutions from conception to implementation.
• You prepare decision-making bases, concepts and management documents and tailor demanding content appropriately for specialist departments, managers and executive management.
• You recognise connections, dependencies and goal conflicts early, set the right priorities and keep an overview even with several parallel initiatives.
• You bring together different interests and perspectives, manage stakeholders at all levels and develop viable solutions.
• You prepare meetings and workshops content-wise, moderate them confidently and ensure structured follow-up as well as binding next steps.

Your key competencies

• You have several years of professional and project experience in a comparable role, ideally in the rail environment.
• You have completed tertiary education (HF/FH/Uni) in a technical, economic or comparable field.
• You think analytically and conceptually, grasp complex contexts quickly and can prepare them understandably and appropriately for the target audience.
• You independently advance demanding issues and develop pragmatic, implementable solutions from them.
• You are interested in processes and have a solid understanding of processes.
• You move confidently at cross-departmental interfaces and can bring together different perspectives, interests and requirements into viable solutions.
• You have experience in stakeholder management as well as in preparing and moderating workshops, meetings and decision-making processes.
• You work independently, in a structured, precise and solution-oriented manner.
• You convince with an open manner, communication skills, curiosity, perseverance and willingness to implement.
• You enjoy working both independently and involving stakeholders.
