Integration of the practical placement for the SRK Care Assistant course possible

The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of the City of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.

We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain initial experience in the field of care during a fixed-term placement of 3 to 12 months by arrangement at the Rosental Retirement Home.

Your tasks

Active assistance in care according to competence description
Active assistance in domestic tasks
Accompanying and supporting residents in simple situations
Assisting with residents’ leisure activities
Day and late shifts (weekend shifts possible)

Your profile

Insight into activities in healthcare and gaining practical experience
For graduates of the SRK Care Assistant course
Helpful personality with joy and interest in working with elderly people
Team player, reliable and responsible
Understanding of the Swiss dialect as well as good oral and written German skills (mandatory level B2)

The internship is remunerated at CHF 16,640.00 per year for a 100% workload until the 18th birthday, thereafter CHF 22,187.00 per year.
