Role:

You want to not only manage a cloud environment but also shape it technically? As a Cloud Systems Engineer (Microsoft Azure), you design the Azure platform from the network level to the modern workplace. You consider identity, security, and cost awareness from the very beginning. With Infrastructure as Code, you make deployments reproducible and create space for real development. Your judgement counts when it comes to clean engineering decisions.

Responsibilities:

• You set up monitoring, alerting, and logging and keep an eye on the availability and performance of the cloud platform.

• You take over implementation and operation for Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune.

• You design and realise Azure resources such as storage, compute, subnets, and network security groups.

• Furthermore, you maintain roles, enterprise applications, and app registrations in Microsoft Entra ID and anchor access and security requirements in the infrastructure.

• In case of persistent issues in the Windows server, network, or identity environment, you conduct root cause analyses.

• Additionally, you drive migrations, changes, and lifecycle projects forward and automate operational processes with PowerShell.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in Windows system engineering and Azure cloud environments.

• Automation with PowerShell is part of your daily routine, and you use Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform purposefully.

• You understand routing, firewalls, and hybrid connections as well as virtual machines, storage, and private networking.

• Moreover, you are confident working with Entra ID with RBAC and have thorough knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft client infrastructures.

• Business continuity concepts, Azure Backup, and Log Analytics are familiar to you from productive environments.

• You keep an overview in complex error scenarios, work independently, and communicate solutions clearly, both in German and in English documentation.
