As a Procurement Officer, you ensure that our internal partners can rely on the right suppliers and that procurements are handled efficiently, economically and professionally.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the procurement of services, products and external resources.
• You conduct tenders, compare offers and develop well-founded procurement decisions.
• You negotiate contracts, prices and conditions with suppliers and external partners.
• You manage existing supplier relationships and identify new market and procurement opportunities.
• You advise internal stakeholders on all questions related to purchasing and procurement.
• You ensure compliance with purchasing guidelines and contract standards.
• You analyse expenditure and procurement data and derive optimisation measures.
• You actively contribute to the further development of processes, standards and tools in purchasing.

Your profile

• You have a completed degree (Bachelor or higher) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Law or a comparable qualification.
• You bring several years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement or supplier management.
• You have experience in conducting tenders as well as in contract and price negotiations.
• You convince with pronounced negotiation skills and understand how to successfully bring together different interests.
• You think analytically and networked and work in a structured and independent manner.
• You have experience in stakeholder management and collaboration with different departments.
• You have good knowledge of contract management as well as handling procurement and purchasing systems.
• You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills; French is an advantage.
• You like to take responsibility, show initiative and drive topics forward with commitment.
