We are currently looking for a field sales representative (m/f/d) for the following areas: Basel, Aargau and Central Switzerland.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for achieving sales targets in the assigned region
- Support of existing customers and acquisition of new customers
- Main contact person for all brand-related questions and concerns of customers
- Identification of customer needs and presentation of suitable products
- Information and advice to targeted doctors to support the prescription of our brands using effective sales techniques
- Building and maintaining trusting relationships to influence decision-making processes among target groups
- Analysis of market drivers, regional data, hospital situations and market conditions
- Planning, development and organization of activities for efficient territory management with optimal use of resources
- Active participation in cycle and sales meetings, teleconferences and training sessions
- Input for sales, medical and marketing teams to develop and implement consistent brand strategies
- Continuous education and professional development; always stay up to date with medical data
- Act in accordance with the code of conduct as well as the company's legal and ethical guidelines
- Representation of the company and products to customers as well as conveying customer concerns to internal stakeholders
Activities:
- Majority of working time spent on the road or on the phone in direct customer contact
- Providing product information to medical professionals
- Preparation and execution of sales presentations to customer groups
- Maintenance and updating of customer segmentation and approach
- Careful documentation and maintenance of customer data in the CRM system
- Regular analysis of the sales territory
- Participation in local and regional events, symposia and congresses (when sponsored by CSL Vifor)
- Occasional participation in international congresses together with customers
- Reporting of events according to internal pharmacovigilance process (PV)
- Regular feedback on market developments (customers, competitors, etc.)
Qualifications:
The knowledge and skills required for this position are usually acquired through the following combination of education, experience and expertise or through an equivalent qualification:
Minimum requirements:
- Education in the medical, scientific or paramedical field
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical field sales
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with medical professionals
- Very good German and French skills; scientific English is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
