Informatik Schaffhausen (ITSH) shapes the digital future of the Canton of Schaffhausen together with around 80 employees. As the central IT partner for the canton, city and municipalities, we develop and operate innovative digital services, provide comprehensive advice to our customers and ensure a secure, modern and reliable IT operation.
To ensure that the digital services of the canton, city and municipalities work together smoothly, we are specifically expanding our integration capabilities. In this key role, you will shape the central integration layer of ITSH. You will design and develop interfaces and APIs, set technical standards and at the same time lead a small, dedicated integration team. We are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Team Leader Service Integration, 80-100 %
What to expect- Technical and personnel leadership of a small integration team including the further development of methods, tools and skills
- Design, construction and further development of a central integration layer as the technical backbone for networking the specialist applications of the canton, city and municipalities
- Design, implementation and operation of interfaces and APIs, from requirements through design to productive, monitored solutions, hands-on and with a high quality standard
- Definition and enforcement of integration standards, API guidelines and reusable integration patterns in close coordination with Enterprise Architecture Management
- Recording integration requirements together with internal teams, specialist departments and suppliers and translating them into viable, secure solutions
- Migration of existing interfaces to the new integration platform including further development and automation
What you bring
- Completed studies (university/FH) in computer science or an equivalent education/training
- Initial leadership experience or proven potential to lead a small team technically and personally, complemented by an analytical-conceptual way of thinking and strong communication skills
- Several years of relevant experience in software engineering and system integration, ideally in the development or operation of integration solutions and interfaces
- Very good, practical programming skills in at least one modern language or platform
- Solid knowledge in API design (REST, versioning, error and status concepts, API lifecycle) and common integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, event-driven, etc.) as well as experience with integration platforms and middleware (API management, message broker or ESB, robotic process automation)
- Advantageous: experience in data management (data modelling, data quality, data flows) and/or with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code)
