Your area of responsibility
As Head of Corporate Marketing, you are responsible for the global brand management and marketing strategy of LGT and ensure that positioning, messages and visual identity are consistent, effective and in line with the global brand architecture across the group. In this role, you shape the group-wide corporate marketing agenda, drive strategic major projects and campaigns forward, and position LGT as a leading brand in private banking and asset management towards clients, employees and other stakeholders. As Head of Corporate Marketing, you lead and develop a multidisciplinary marketing team, foster a culture of creativity, collaboration and disciplined implementation, and contribute significantly to the commercial and reputational success of the group. You report to the Head of Group Marketing & Communications.
Main tasks:
- Corporate Marketing responsibility: Responsibility for corporate marketing at the private banking group level, including development, management and continuous further development of the global brand and marketing strategy in alignment with the group’s business objectives
- Global brand management and corporate design: Responsibility for the group-wide brand architecture as well as further development, maintenance and monitoring of the corporate design (CI/CD) to ensure consistent brand implementation across all markets, divisions and touchpoints
- Campaigns, digital marketing and content: Conception and implementation of global brand campaigns and other measures to build brand awareness and sharpen the company profile, including budget responsibility and agency management. Ensuring effective storytelling and consistent messaging across digital platforms and tools
- Sponsoring, events and strategic projects: Conception and implementation of cross-departmental and cross-regional sponsoring measures and events as well as other strategically important marketing projects
- Business management: Planning, budgeting and controlling for the corporate marketing area as well as ensuring structured project management
- Professional leadership and stakeholder partnership: Professional leadership of regional marketing units in the areas of branding, sponsoring and CI/CD as well as close collaboration with them to ensure coherent global planning and implementation
- Leadership and personnel development: Role model for the LGT Leadership Principles and the Code of Culture in all aspects of the role. Disciplinary leadership and development of a team of around 10 as well as sustainable alignment of self and employee development with long-term business success. Driver of strategic LGT initiatives such as digitalisation, AI and Great Place to Work
Your profile
- Completed master’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication or media studies or an equivalent qualification
- At least 10 years of professional experience as an expert in branding and marketing communication, ideally in the banking environment, with experience in team and project management as well as advising senior executives on brand and marketing matters
- Proven track record in brand management as well as in the conception and implementation of effective, cross-media brand campaigns with measurable impact on brand value, customer loyalty and business success
- Hands-on experience with social media, websites and other digital channels as well as sound knowledge of production processes for advertising materials, digital and social media content
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Independent and proactive working style as well as a communicative, positive, honest and team-oriented personality. Strong implementation skills and entrepreneurial thinking, combined with the ability to set priorities, take responsibility and use available resources purposefully
