These tasks will inspire you

• You are responsible for daily transport, deployment and route planning as well as personnel and vehicle scheduling
• Ensuring optimal utilisation and timely delivery
• Continuous optimisation of processes, structures and interfaces in collaboration with adjacent areas
• Co-responsible for operational decisions, escalation management and leadership of around 45 employees
• Participation in projects, especially the new TMS/WMS landscape
• Taking over and responsibility for operational day-to-day business if required

We look forward to this profile

• Several years of professional experience in scheduling and preferably some initial experience in a managerial role
• Further training in transport and logistics, ideally with a federal diploma
• Sound knowledge in scheduling and transport control
• Strong leadership and social skills as well as a solution-oriented, positive basic attitude
• High IT affinity and willingness to invest in digitalisation
• Willingness to work shifts (05:00–14:00 / 13:30–22:00) during holiday absences and staff shortages and to work one Sunday shift per month
