You can contribute this role

• Perform maintenance work on bridge systems as well as on other engineering equipment in a versatile manner
• Manufacture workpieces, custom-made items and mechanical devices and create technical documentation
• Process and maintain military operational and training material made of plastic, metal and wood
• Advise, accompany and check customers (troops and third parties) on fittings and returns regarding driving safety, accident prevention, maintenance, cleaning and vehicle inventory
• Document completed work, ensure quality controls and contribute to compliance with safety regulations

What makes you unique

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ, agricultural machinery mechanic EFZ, construction machinery mechanic EFZ or equivalent mechanical training
• Professional experience in mechanical manufacturing and maintenance, ideally in the field of machines, systems or military material
• Good knowledge of plastic processing (especially polyester and GRP work) as well as experience with metal and wood processing and conventional machines
• Independent, structured and quality-conscious working method as well as manual dexterity and technical understanding
• Team spirit, reliability and flexibility as well as willingness to work polyvalently in different specialist areas
• Oral and written knowledge of a second official language as well as enjoyment in dealing with customers (troops and third parties)

In this role, you work on versatile systems in the field of engineering and bridge material and focus your daily work specifically on polyester and plastic work (GRP). You combine manual skill with mechanical tasks and are primarily responsible for proper maintenance.
