Laboratory Technician - Advanced Mineral Development

• ​Execution of high temperature (>1000°C) experimentation on glassy materials


• Chemical and physical modifications of mineral powders, i.e. grinding, precipitation, granulation


• Material characterization via the appropriate analytical technique


• Complete and precise reporting of the experimental work.


• Support of scientists and engineers for various interdisciplinary research projects


• Act as a liaison to technical groups, as needed
  
  
  
  • ​Technical studies (apprenticeship, or similar technical degree) in the field of materials science, chemistry or other fields of natural science
  
  
  • Experience working in a lab
  
  
  • Good technical skills and willingness to use them in a laboratory environment
  
  
  • Excellent computer and sorftware skills in Word and Excel
  
  
  • Good command of both German and English
  
  
  • Proactive, target-oriented and willing to work on multidisciplinary projects
  
  
  • Excellent team spirit
  
  
  • Work in an ISO-certified environment​
