Within our "Environment and Waste Management" unit, we are looking for our team based in Geneva, an:
Energy Recovery Expert (80 to 100% rate)
In this role, you will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, spirit of innovation, and friendliness.
YOUR NEW ROLE:
Within our multidisciplinary team specialized in waste treatment infrastructure engineering, you will support communities and industries in the design and optimization of their energy recovery facilities.
Your main missions:
- Manage the monitoring of design studies
- Validate execution studies
- Supervise the works
Areas of intervention:
- Construction or rehabilitation of energy recovery units for household waste or wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) sludge
- Methanization facilities for biowaste or WWTP sludge and biogas recovery
As an Expert, your main tasks will be:
- Design and optimize waste treatment and recovery processes in line with regulatory and environmental requirements
- Conduct technical studies (material and energy balances, etc.) and participate in the preparation of tender documents (DCE)
- Lead diagnostics and performance audits of existing facilities
- Support projects from design to commissioning of facilities
- Ensure technological watch and propose innovative solutions adapted to client needs
- Participate in exchanges with clients, partners, and regulatory authorities
- Ensure the technical, contractual, and financial success of projects you manage as project manager
Regular travel to France and Switzerland is expected to ensure project follow-up and client relations.
COULD IT BE YOU?
- Graduate of an engineering school in energy engineering, process engineering, or equivalent Master’s degree
- Significant experience (min. 5 years) in a similar position in engineering, ideally in waste recovery
- Technical expertise and project management skills, combining technical knowledge and client orientation
- Dynamic, structured, and excellent organizational skills
- Collaborative spirit: you enjoy working in a team, sharing your ideas, and passing on your experience to colleagues
- Excellent level of French, good level of English
