Together uniquely on the way
We are the Foundation for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Youth Zollikofen - a private, politically and denominationally neutral organization with a non-profit objective. Our task is to support and accompany people with special needs from birth to young adulthood. We offer additional services to parents, teachers of public regular schools and special primary schools as well as to professionals. Our core competencies lie in the support and accompaniment of young people with visual impairment, blindness, multiple disabilities, or from the autism spectrum.

Tasks
This is what you can achieve with us:
You accompany students with multiple disabilities in the classroom. As part of a motivated class team, you implement the support plan and teaching according to the teacher's instructions and assist with daily organization. You professionally support, supervise, and care for the students. You regularly exchange information with the reference persons and participate in round tables, school status meetings, and professional consultations. Accompanying special weeks, school projects, and other school events is also part of your duties. Additionally, you write periodic journal entries or reports about the accompanied students.
Requirements
What you bring:
You have experience in supporting children and young people with multiple disabilities and ideally also with children on the autism spectrum. In addition, you hold a degree as a clinical special education teacher, social pedagogue, or as a care specialist (FaBe). You can approach challenges with the necessary professionalism and calm. You adapt your communication individually to the abilities of the students. With your constructive manner and positive attitude, you contribute greatly to a good team climate.
