Overall responsibility for the professional and personnel management of a specialised development team as well as coordination of collaboration across multiple locations

Active shaping of technological advancement and development of future-oriented solutions in the field of electronics and electrical engineering

Responsibility for the design, development and optimisation of electronic components, assemblies and complex mechatronic systems

Support of new products and technologies from the initial idea through the development and industrialisation phases to ongoing product support

Planning and management of demanding development projects taking into account resources, deadlines, costs and quality requirements

Promotion and further development of employees as well as creation of a high-performance, innovative and team-oriented working environment

Observation and evaluation of new technologies as well as examination of their applicability for future product generations

Ensuring technical functionality and quality through appropriate testing and validation processes

Close cooperation with production, purchasing and other internal departments to ensure an economical and technically convincing implementation

Support with complex technical issues, fault analyses and sustainable optimisation of existing products

Technical assessment and coordination with external development partners and suppliers

Solothurn

Several years of experience in the development of electronic and mechatronic products, ideally in an industrial development and production environment

At least five years of professional experience in product or technology development with sound knowledge in electronics development

Proven leadership experience and enjoyment in promoting employees, delegating responsibility and successfully developing a team

Very good technical knowledge in the areas of circuit technology, sensor technology, embedded systems and electronic components

Experience in the design and implementation of complex technical systems as well as a strong understanding of the interaction between electronics, mechanics and software

Entrepreneurially minded and solution-oriented personality with the ability to combine technical and economic requirements

Structured, independent and forward-looking working style with strong organisational skills and decisiveness

Communicative and assertive leadership personality who can bring together different interests and inspire employees for common goals

Experience in technical project management and cross-departmental collaboration is an advantage

Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written

Completed studies in electrical engineering (HF, FH or university) or a comparable technical qualification
