The Cantonal Library of Graubünden belongs to the Office for Culture and is the largest library in the canton. It is the central collection point for Raetica. These are all media produced in or related to Graubünden. The Cantonal Library supports education, science, and culture and provides media in the three cantonal languages. In addition to media from many subject areas, it also offers classics from literature, film, and music. As an advisory center for publicly accessible libraries in the canton, the Cantonal Library promotes the development and coordination of the Graubünden library system.
We are looking for an Employee for the Storage Department in the Cantonal Library (Office for Culture) starting July 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Responsibility for media processing (equipping various media types with RFID security, signature labels, etc.)
- Taking over lending services during the week and on some Saturdays to support the User Department
- Supporting the magazine service (retrieving & returning media)
- Completed training as an information and documentation specialist (EFZ) or equivalent qualification
- Experience with the library system Alma
- Practical experience in lending services
- Manual dexterity, enjoyment in dealing with customers, confident use of MS Office programs
- Good knowledge of German, knowledge of another cantonal language is an advantage
- Commitment and team orientation
