Your mission
You will lead voting and/or awareness campaigns in French-speaking Switzerland on federal matters important to the economic location. You will also promote our positions on energy, environment, infrastructure, and digitalisation to our stakeholders.
Federal voting and awareness campaigns
- You develop strategies adapted to the Romandy context, with political acumen, rigour, and creativity.
- You lead the Geneva office campaign team, plan communication activities and measures, and ensure their proper execution (arguments, posters, announcements, leaflets, social media, events, media relations, etc.).
- You ensure the mobilisation of our members and political allies in Romandy.
- You collaborate closely with the campaign team at our headquarters.
Communication & lobbying on "Energy, Environment, Infrastructure and Digitalisation" themes
- You are the reference person in French-speaking Switzerland for our "Energy, Environment, Infrastructure and Digitalisation" department based in Zurich. You master the main topics - at a generalist level - relying on our specialists and internal committees.
- You proactively present our positions to Romandy federal parliamentarians, in close coordination with our headquarters and our Bern office.
- You regularly write articles and opinions, give public presentations, propose content for social media, assist the Romandy management with media relations, check French translations, and represent economiesuisse at events.
- You identify the expectations of our Romandy members and regularly inform them on topics within your competence.
Your profile
- University degree, ideally in economics or political science.
- Professional experience in managing campaigns and political communication, or similar.
- Proven strategic and political sense, creativity, excellent organisational and writing skills, ease in public speaking.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and strong interest in economic policy.
- Leadership, dynamism, flexibility, team spirit, high stress resistance.
- Familiarity with political mechanisms and network in French-speaking Switzerland: an asset.
- Excellent understanding of German is essential (level B2).
