For our team in Allschwil, we are looking for a customer-oriented, dedicated, and reliable person as a Candidate Specialist in Laboratory Medicine FAMH, Medical Genetics 80-100%, starting immediately or by agreement.
- You will complete a 4-year training to become a Specialist in Laboratory Medicine FAMH, Medical Genetics.
- During this time, you will acquire the ability to assess and report analyses in the areas of pre- and postnatal genetics, molecular hematology, and molecular pathology, ensuring that patients, medical practices, and hospitals receive precise laboratory results in the shortest possible time as a reliable basis for quick diagnosis and rapid therapy decisions.
- After acquiring sufficient expertise, you will conduct written and oral consultations and advise clients in all areas of Medical Genetics.
- During the training, you will share responsibility for internal and external quality controls / ring trials as well as for the evaluation, validation, and introduction of new devices and methods, including technical and medical validation.
- Completed studies (Master) in natural sciences or medicine, PhD is an advantage
- 1 year of professional experience in research or industry is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
- Willingness to work on weekends and on-call services
