The Social Services Department, with the divisions Social Counselling, Support, and Central Services, provides services within the framework of economic and personal social assistance, maintenance support, as well as in various areas of healthcare. Through our work, we help to alleviate distress and sustainably resolve existing challenges.

Your responsibilities

• Personnel management and development of ten employees
• Ensuring efficient, effective, and legally compliant social counselling
• Further development of the social counselling area
• Participation in expert committees and in overarching professional matters
• Maintaining constructive and supportive collaboration with internal and external bodies

Your profile

• Degree in Social Work (FH) or a comparable professional qualification
• Professional experience in economic social assistance or a comparable social field
• Several years of leadership experience and strong leadership skills
• Analytical and forward-thinking mindset and enjoyment of conceptual work
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented working style
• High social competence, empathy, and teamwork skills
• Confident personality with assured presence, assertiveness, and enthusiasm for taking responsibility and implementing tasks
• Understanding of the framework conditions of public administration
