What you can achieve

• Building and further developing modern platforms with a focus on Kubernetes and container technologies
• Developing automation solutions as well as modern CI/CD pipelines
• Automating platform, deployment and development processes
• Using classic infrastructure and virtualisation solutions in specific use cases
• Shaping technical standards, architectures and best practices in DevOps engineering
• Evaluating and introducing new technologies and tools around Kubernetes, containers and automation

What you bring with you

• Degree in computer science or apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ or career changer with comparable practical experience
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies as well as Linux
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps platforms such as GitLab or Azure DevOps
• Good knowledge of CI/CD, automation and configuration management using Ansible or comparable technologies
• Experience in virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Nutanix or Proxmox is an advantage
• Enjoy automating, standardising and further developing solutions
• Independent, proactive and solution-oriented working style
• Good German skills; English skills (Level B2) are an advantage
• Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
