The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care center each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees offer elderly people a regionally unique comprehensive care from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. As the only care center in Northwestern Switzerland, we have highly specialized nursing and care places to professionally care for residents with tracheostomy — with or without ventilation. Even with complex requirements such as drains or central venous access (Port/PICC line), those affected are in the best hands with us. The immediate proximity to the hospital and our mobile home doctor service ensure medical care around the clock.

AGS for our exciting ventilation ward

Your tasks
- Support of residents in daily ward operations
- Accompanying patients under the guidance of professionals
- Basic and treatment care, documentation according to nursing guidelines.
- Monitoring patient data, early recognition of changes in condition in coordination with the nursing team.
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, therapists, and other teams.
- Co-design of quality and safety processes on the ward.
Your profile
- Completed training as Health and Social Assistant (AGS) or equivalent qualification
- First relevant practical experience in healthcare is an advantage; willingness to familiarize with ventilation-specific procedures.
- Teamwork skills, resilience, empathy, and a structured way of working.
- Good German skills; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Sense of responsibility, accuracy, and self-organization.
