We are looking for a motivated, humorous and resilient personality for our youth work team. You will complement our team as
immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
You will help to completely rebuild youth work in Münchenstein. The three pillars of meeting operations, outreach youth work and project work are to stand equally alongside each other. Together with your team leader and your team, you will contribute to the holistic development of young people to enable them to integrate positively into society. The young people will be empowered in skills such as independence, participation, communication, initiative and self-organisation so that they can realise their personal needs, recognise their own resources and learn to take responsibility for their own behaviour and actions. Through presence at various locations in the municipality (youth centre, playground, public space), you and your team will reach as broad a group of young people as possible, who will implement projects and activities on their own initiative.
Our expectations
You have a degree in social work, socio-cultural animation or similar and bring professional experience in youth work. You are a dynamic, positive and open personality who shows great interest in the world of young people. Sociability, conflict resolution skills and flexibility characterise you.
You are willing to work irregular hours and ideally have a category B driving licence and are a committed person who enjoys the profession and brings a good dose of humour.
