Are you passionate about quantitative analysis and eager to kickstart your career in risk management? Join our dynamic team to shape the future of energy trading with innovative solutions and a collaborative spirit.
Analyze key risk indicators such as PnL, prices, volatilities, correlations, and VaR, and perform sensitivity analysis.
Assist in PnL explain and risk decomposition, identifying key market drivers.
Collaborate with Risk, Front Office, IT, and control functions to support daily processes.
Support the development of data pipelines, tools, and dashboards to enhance Middle Office processes.
Contribute to model monitoring, validation activities, and the pricing/valuation of trading portfolios.
Develop data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Streamlit.
Liaise with the Swiss Risk Analysis team to ensure consistency in methodologies and data flows.
What you bring & who you are:
University degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Statistics.
2–3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, risk management, or related fields.
Basic knowledge of financial instruments (Futures, Swaps, Forwards, Options) and quantitative modeling techniques.
Programming skills in Python and SQL, with a willingness to further develop technical capabilities.
Interest in financial risk management, market risk methodologies (e.g., VaR, stress testing), and commodity markets (gas and power trading).
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks) and data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Strong teamwork mindset, proactive attitude, and effective communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
