What you can achieve

• Monitoring and control of all relevant safety and alarm systems as well as conducting inspections, audits and vulnerability analyses
• Documentation and investigation of safety and environmental incidents including root cause analysis and derivation of measures
• Advising managers on risk assessments, risk analyses and implementation of legal and internal requirements
• Coordinating the group-wide collection, consolidation and quality assurance of KPIs, KRIs and management information in the areas of safety and environment and preparing target group-specific evaluations and reports
• Consulting on risk assessments, risk analyses and preventive measures
• Supporting the integration of safety and environment requirements into operational and project processes according to industry standards ISO 14000 and 45000;
• Ensuring coordination and documentation of inspection and control obligations (equipment testing, site permits, etc.) and supporting responsible parties in documentation, monitoring and timely implementation of measures from inspections, audits, assessments and official requirements
• Creation, maintenance and further development of site-specific work instructions, process instructions, concepts and directives in the areas of safety and environment
• Support in environmental management (waste, emissions, water protection) and participation in sustainability initiatives
• Planning, organisation and execution of training sessions, workshops and evacuation or emergency drills
• Active contribution to the further development of the safety, health and environmental culture at the site

What you bring with you

• Completed training in the field of safety (e.g. safety specialist (EKAS/SUVA), technical training HF/FH with a focus on safety)
• Additional training in fire protection, ISO 45001/14001 courses, BZS courses
• Several years of professional experience in occupational safety, health protection or environment
• Sound knowledge in risk management, safety audits and internal control systems (ICS) in the safety context
• High communication and teamwork skills at all hierarchical levels
• Structured and reliable working style as well as high organisational and coordination skills
• Very good MS Office user skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Very good German and good English skills

The "Corporate Security" department ensures group-wide safety and environmental management to effectively protect employees, infrastructures, business processes as well as entrusted sensitive information and materials of the federal government. The department is responsible for the protection and physical integrity of employees as well as the resilience of business operations against security-relevant risks. Through uniform standards and processes, it ensures that legal requirements and internal group safety and sustainability goals are met.
