Our Puidoux site, which employs 150 people, is a strategic supplier of high-precision metal tubes and components for medical devices. In a context of growth and stringent regulatory requirements, we are strengthening our quality team.

We are looking for a Quality Technician ready to play a key role in the reliability and performance of our quality controls, bringing technical expertise, optimising our control methods, and supporting our teams daily to ensure product compliance.

Mission

Perform quality controls, provide technical expertise to teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of control methods, while participating in the coordination and smooth operation of the Quality Control department’s activities.

Your main responsibilities

Quality control and technical expertise

• Carry out dimensional, visual and final inspections, as well as specific analyses;
• Act as a technical reference for control methods and problem resolution;
• Contribute to the standardisation, harmonisation and optimisation of control methods;
• Improve control procedures and support teams in their implementation.

Coordination and operational support

• Participate in coordinating Quality Control activities, considering production priorities and urgencies;
• Ensure monitoring of quarantined products and non-conformities;
• Guarantee continuity of operational activities by covering for the QC Supervisor during absences.

Performance monitoring and continuous improvement

• Develop, monitor and analyse performance indicators (KPIs) for the Quality Control department;
• Ensure administrative follow-up and proper documentation of quality activities;
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and process optimisation within the department;
• Provide technical support to Quality Engineers in their activities and projects.

Your profile

• You have proven experience in quality control and metrology, ideally in an industrial environment;
• You are proficient with various measuring instruments as well as reading and interpreting technical drawings;
• You demonstrate rigour, autonomy and good analytical skills, with the ability to manage priorities;
• You are comfortable with IT tools and possess good communication and teamwork skills;
• You are recognised for your organisational skills, proactivity and ability to solve technical issues;
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and the medical device sector is an asset.
