Project: For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a Calibration Specialist (m/f/d).

Background:
In the Engineering & SHE department in Kaiseraugst, you will find numerous opportunities to explore the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing of solid and liquid dosage forms. Engineering & SHE is the central department for calibrating our GMP production systems (e.g., temperature, pressure, mass) and supports the Kaiseraugst site in complying with GMP production requirements.

The ideal candidate possesses expertise and several years of practical experience in the calibration of pharmaceutical equipment, as well as comprehensive knowledge of various measuring instruments and experience in a GMP environment. Practical experience in implementing technical GMP requirements of regulatory authorities is essential. In addition to a technical education, strong computer skills and excellent German language skills are required.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Self-organized coordination of calibrations - monitoring, documentation and timely execution of calibrations
• Maintaining the qualified status of the monitored measuring instruments
• GMP-compliant execution and documentation of your tasks
• Development of proposals and coordination of the implementation of measures to improve the quality, safety, efficiency of the calibration processes and to
reduce costs.

Must-haves:
• Technical training in a relevant field: e.g., instrumentation and control technician or engineer specializing in bio-/process engineering, control engineering.
• Expertise and several years of practical experience in calibration. Ideally, in the calibration of pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotechnological equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of various measuring instruments and experience in a GMP environment.
• Practical experience in implementing technical GMP requirements of regulatory authorities (RHI, FDA, EMA, etc.).
• Good IT skills (SAP, Computerized Calibration Management System, Comos, MS Office, Google Suite, QS systems).
• Good written and spoken German skills; English skills are an advantage.
