The Winterthur Tumour Centre consists of ten specialised organ centres and guarantees diagnostics and therapy as well as treatment quality at the highest level, in accordance with the current state of medical knowledge. We are looking for a committed individual for our interdisciplinary team at the Winterthur Tumour Centre to take on the role of Head of Psycho-Oncology.
This is who we are
Your tasks
- Professional and personnel management of the psycho-oncology team (4 employees)
- Psychological-psychotherapeutic care of oncological patients and their relatives in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Coordination of psycho-oncological resources to ensure optimal care of patients
- Quality assurance of psycho-oncological care in the prescribed setting (ensuring the necessary personnel competencies through further training, case supervisions, individual supervisions)
- Close collaboration with other professional groups within the tumour centre
- Representation of psycho-oncology externally through public lectures and symposia
Your profile
- Completed university degree in psychology and recognised training in psychotherapy
- Ideally additional qualification in psycho-oncology or experience in psychotherapeutic support of people with somatic illnesses
- Ideally experience in professional and personnel management
- Integrative and service-oriented leadership personality with high social competence
- Strong communication skills, empathy and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Enthusiasm, initiative and pleasure in leading and further developing a team
