Team Leader Order Processing 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-moulded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling, as well as metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts in-house as possible. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient.
This is what you can achieve:
Leadership and further development of the team of specialists in commercial order processing and shipping
Responsibility for the timely order processing process (Sales Order Processing) from order receipt through shipping planning and coordination to invoicing
Coordination and handling of all export and transport tasks to all countries supplied by Hamilton Bonaduz AG, including the creation and maintenance of the required export and customs documentation
Optimisation and further development of the organisation, processes, guidelines, and work instructions in the commercial order processing process to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
Analysis and reporting of relevant performance indicators (KPIs) and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
Close collaboration with internal interfaces (sales, purchasing, production, logistics, quality, engineering) to ensure a smooth value chain
Contact person for national and international customers regarding delivery status, export questions, and service concerns
This is what you bring:
Commercial training or technical basic training with commercial further education
Professional experience in international transport (import-export), foreign trade, and customs topics is an advantage
Several years of leadership experience in order processing, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally in an industrial or technical environment
Professional handling of ERP system Microsoft D365 or SAP for order processing and Microsoft Office tools
Analytical and process-oriented thinking
Proactive and service-oriented personality with enjoyment in customer contact
Independent, goal-oriented, implementation- and assertiveness-strong personality
Strong communication and team skills
Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written)
