Your typical day

• You are responsible for the complete order processing, order confirmations, schedule and cost monitoring, invoice verification as well as for complaint management
• You evaluate, qualify and validate suppliers as well as goods and services such as licences, service contracts, packaging, chemicals, C-parts (screws, etc.)
• You support the specialist departments in Switzerland and abroad in the search for new procurement sources and markets, taking into account economic, environmental as well as health and quality aspects
• Conducting price negotiations, drafting framework agreements and independently managing process and cost optimisation projects (Lean principles) also give you pleasure
• Participation in working and project groups (cost and process optimisations) as well as ensuring master data maintenance are also part of your duties

Your profile

• Technical or commercial basic training ideally with further training as a purchasing specialist or in training for this
• You have at least 2-3 years of operational purchasing experience, ideally in indirect purchasing with a strong affinity for technical equipment and goods
• You are communicative, responsible as well as persistent, like to explore new paths and enjoy both new challenges and administrative tasks
• You find working with an ERP system, such as SAP (MM), easy and are generally interested in modern tools
• You communicate effortlessly in German and English, French or other languages would be an advantage
