Job Description
The Rotary Geneva MGallery is looking for a passionate, dynamic and organised Reception Manager to join its team and ensure a unique guest experience from arrival to departure.
Your mission:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily reception activity to guarantee a warm, personalised and professional welcome to each guest.
- Ensure the quality of the guest experience throughout the stay and anticipate needs to create memorable moments.
- Lead, support and motivate the reception team on a daily basis.
- Organise schedules and allocate tasks according to the hotel’s activity.
- Ensure compliance with MGallery and Accor quality standards as well as internal procedures.
- Manage arrivals, departures, special requests and VIP guests.
- Handle any complaints professionally and ensure appropriate solutions are provided.
- Work closely with the various hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and a seamless guest experience.
- Contribute to the hotel’s revenue growth through upselling and promoting offered services.
- Monitor performance and guest satisfaction indicators and implement necessary actions for improvement.
- Ensure proper management of administrative and financial operations related to the reception.
Qualifications
Your profile:
We are looking for an autonomous, reliable, dynamic person passionate about hospitality, with solid experience in reception, ideally within a high-end establishment.
You have a true sense of service, enjoy working in a team and demonstrate leadership while remaining close to your colleagues.
You are attentive to details and committed to offering a personalised and memorable experience to each guest.
Reception and guest relations hold no secrets for you! Your reception experience has allowed you to develop an excellent knowledge of luxury hotel standards and the expectations of an international clientele.
Team management is familiar to you. You know how to support, unite and develop your colleagues while efficiently organising the service’s activity.
You anticipate needs, manage unforeseen situations and turn every interaction into a positive experience.
You always keep an eye on your service’s performance. Guest satisfaction, quality, upselling and process optimisation are integral parts of your daily routine.
Your experience and skills include:
2 years’ experience in a similar position in a 4 or 5-star luxury hotel
Proficiency in Opera Cloud software
Fluency in French and English
Mastery of an additional language is a real asset
Team spirit, rigorous and organised approach
