What you can achieve

• You integrate, configure and operate backend and application services as well as vendor-specific applications and ensure their operational readiness.
• You implement platform resources, container images, secrets, configurations and persistence according to architecture and security specifications.
• You automate and version deployment and configuration processes and implement CI/CD and GitOps mechanisms.
• You are responsible for the technical integration, testing and provision of releases, upgrades and patches in the designated target environments.
• You create lifecycle and migration concepts as well as technical solution designs and document them comprehensibly.
• You specify interfaces and technical dependencies to existing systems and subsystems and ensure the necessary integration and test evidence.
• You maintain system and service configurations and ensure up-to-date operational, installation and troubleshooting documentation.

What you bring with you

• You have at least five years of professional experience in DevSecOps, system administration or system architecture.
• You have good knowledge of Linux systems, container technologies, deployment and automation.
• You have experience with CI/CD, GitOps and infrastructure-as-code as well as IT security and system hardening.
• You are familiar with the technical integration and lifecycle management of complex system landscapes.
• You know agile development and collaboration methods; experience with SAFe is an advantage.
• You work independently, analytically and in a structured manner and have good German language skills (at least B2).

Network Engineering & Support provides services in the design and implementation of new telecommunications projects for armasuisse as well as in the provision and further development of SLA services for the command network. The focus is on reliable operation, integration of modern technologies and continuous development of the system landscape.
