We are looking for a portfolio manager for the properties of the University and PH Bern.

Your tasks

• Sustainably manage the assigned property portfolio while taking into account the requirements of the users (University, PH) as well as the owner and client interests of the Canton of Bern. In particular, the specific operational and infrastructural requirements of the veterinary hospital (e.g. complex tendering procedures, high technical requirements and cost control) must be appropriately considered.
• Development and ongoing optimisation of the properties: prepare potential and feasibility studies, develop solution strategies and create profitability calculations in SIA subphases 11 and 21
• Define the strategic maintenance planning in close cooperation with the property managers
• Specifications for new buildings, repairs and maintenance measures for handover to construction project management
• Lead external and internal project teams and coordinate the different demands

Your profile

• University degree in architecture / economics / construction / real estate trust, preferably with business management further training
• Professional experience in portfolio and project management as well as real estate development
• You like to take responsibility, act entrepreneurially, are resilient and innovative
• You communicate skilfully, are confident in negotiations, work in a structured and organised manner
