Process Engineer / Operations Engineer

Background:

We are seeking a professional Process Engineer / Operations Engineer for the Operations Engineering team.

The ideal candidate has solid experience as a Process Engineer or Operations Engineer with process engineering expertise, especially in the areas of pure media, steam, and energy. In addition to technical knowledge, strong helpfulness, team spirit, good manners, and a confident demeanour are essential. Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written, complete the profile.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement process engineering solutions and optimisations
• Responsible for meeting deadlines, costs, and achieving project goals
• Compliance with and assurance of cGMP requirements within investment projects and operations engineering
• Responsible for optimisations and modifications as well as the technical support of complex and demanding chemical and biotechnological plants and the realisation of investment projects from initial project definition to handover to the operator
• Responsible for active pharmaceutical ingredient production (batch processes as well as continuous manufacturing processes)
• Collaboration in a project team within an interdisciplinary technical environment

Must Haves:

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Initial experience in the GMP & pharmaceutical sector
• Generally very good IT skills. Microsoft, Google
• Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written
• You are a positive-thinking, honest, and self-reflective personality with strong team skills
• You are open to new ideas and question conventional thinking patterns. You appreciate working in a performance-oriented environment characterised by mutual respect, discussion, and collaboration
• You are a communicative and decisive personality with persuasiveness and assertiveness, who enjoys working independently.

Nice to Have:

• Process engineering knowledge in pure media, steam, and energy
• Know-how in plant, pump, and heat exchanger design
