Is this helpful?
The Kantonsschule Zimmerberg in Au ZH was newly opened in August 2020. In its upcoming seventh year of operation, it is expected to have 25 classes with a total of around 600 students. It offers a long and a short gymnasium with five Matura profiles (classical languages, modern languages, mathematical-scientific, economic-legal, as well as philosophical-pedagogical-psychological). In the young, manageable cantonal school, personal contact and the individual are at the center.
For the 2026/27 school year, we are looking for a teaching assistant for the subject of Computer Science.
Your tasks
The teaching assignment will probably include 10 weekly lessons (two parallel 1st and 3rd classes each). If the collaboration is successful, continued employment in the 2027/28 school year is possible.
Your profile
You have completed most of your studies in Computer Science or have already graduated and are considering teaching at a gymnasium as a professional option. You enjoy working with young people and have pedagogical skills. You are an open, flexible personality interested in contributing to the development of our school and engaging beyond teaching.
Our offer
We offer you a particularly interesting area of responsibility in an unusual environment of a newly young, dynamic school as well as contemporary employment conditions according to cantonal guidelines. An experienced teacher will accompany you as a mentor.
