For the position of Claims Handler (m/f/d) Property, Accident & Health, we are looking for a new colleague (m/f/d) to strengthen our team in Glattbrugg (Zurich) at the earliest possible date, for a workload of 80% to 100%.

What to expect with us:

• Independent handling of claims in the Accident & Health area (business travel insurance, accident insurance, etc.) as well as Property within the assigned authorities, including international cases
• Coverage review, analysis of insurance scope and conditions, and verification of entitlement to claims
• Independent and proactive investigation of facts to assess the claim by actively contacting insured persons and policyholders, brokers and other stakeholders, as well as commissioning loss adjusters, evaluating medical findings/doctor’s reports, loss reports, investigation documents and invoices
• Detection of fraud indicators and, if necessary, forwarding to the appropriate authorities
• Identification of recourse possibilities and support in enforcing recourse claims
• Maintenance of claim files and documentation in internal systems
• Close cooperation with underwriting and (joint) attendance of appointments with clients and brokers

To complete the picture described above, you bring the following:

• Completed studies in law, business administration or a federal diploma as an insurance specialist or a comparable qualification, e.g. as a commercial clerk (KV) EFZ in private insurance
• First professional experience in claims handling, ideally in the A&H or Property area, is advantageous but not mandatory
• Confident handling of insurance conditions
• Attention to detail as well as structured, proactive and team-oriented working style and confident expression
• Enjoyment in exchange and negotiations with international brokers and clients as well as customer-oriented thinking and acting
• Confident use of common IT systems and MS Office
• Very good German and English skills, good French and/or Italian skills are an advantage
