Head of Sales Scheduled Shipping

We are looking for a sales-oriented personality as Head of Sales Scheduled Shipping, 100%, starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

As Head of Sales Scheduled Shipping, you lead and motivate a team of eight employees and actively participate in day-to-day operations. You capture the wishes of our guests, ensure their optimal implementation, and help turn satisfied customers into enthusiastic guests.

Your Responsibilities

• Operational management of the Sales Scheduled Shipping department with eight employees and one apprentice
• Consultation, sales and quotation management for shipping and group travel including catering services
• Handling customer concerns and complaints
• Ensuring the department's quality and sales targets
• Close collaboration with marketing and the Sales Manager in marketing and selling the offers
• Continuous optimisation of processes and cross-departmental collaboration in projects and daily operations
• Participation in the timetable team and in planning and further developing culinary shipping experiences

Requirements Profile

• Commercial experience, preferably in public transport, tourism, hospitality or a similar role; ideally with further training in sales and marketing, catering experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of the Lucerne Lake Lucerne tourism region
• Leadership experience in a small team
• Consulting and sales talent in German, English and French, both spoken and written
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays (2–4 days per month)
• Willingness to work overtime in summer with compensation in winter
• Flexibility and enthusiasm as well as precise working methods
• Organisational talent and ability for cross-departmental collaboration
