The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Rectorate and University Services supports the six departments of Engineering & Architecture, Business, Computer Science, Social Work, Design Film Art, and Music in university operations and organises and contributes in many ways.
The central task of the Application Development team is the support of business applications. This includes external systems as well as in-house and further developments. The clientele consists of the six departments, the Directorate, and the Rectorate and University Services area.
To complement our team, we are looking for you from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement as a
Full-Stack Application Developer 80 - 100 %
Your tasks
- Implement web-based software solutions from analysis to successful commissioning and maintenance
- Analyse customer requirements
- Participate in effort estimations
- Develop frontend apps (with Vue.js) and RESTful APIs in the backend (with .NET)
- Containerisation and orchestration of applications with Kubernetes
Your profile
- Completed vocational training in application development
- Education (HF/FH/Uni) in computer science is an advantage
- Several years of experience in development with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js knowledge is an advantage), REST APIs (preferably in .NET), and database design
- Knowledge in deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of applications in Kubernetes environments
- Practical experience in building and operating DevOps pipelines
- Experience with agile methods and corresponding tooling landscape
- Willingness to acquire any missing knowledge "on the job"
- Good oral and written skills in German and English
- Independent working style as well as high customer and service orientation
