Due to retirement, we are looking for a strong leadership personality for our municipal depot operation. You will complement our team as

Your tasks

As Head of the Municipal Depot, you are organisationally subordinate to the Head of the Building Administration and directly manage three group leaders as well as an administrative employee. As an on-site manager, you bear overall responsibility for around 27 employees including 4 apprentices and thus serve as a role model.

Together with the well-coordinated employees, you are responsible for ensuring the structural and operational maintenance of green spaces, paths, squares, and municipal roads as well as the water supply. Thanks to your professional and leadership experience, you motivate your teams to effective and efficient service operations.

The coordination and deployment planning of winter services as well as your own deployments are also part of your duties. The partly flexible working hours and assignments are a pleasant change for you. In the diverse tasks, you are in direct contact with our residents and appreciate the exchange with various stakeholders.

Our expectations

You value a good working atmosphere, have the ability to motivate your employees, and bring a healthy assertiveness.

You have completed a vocational/technical training (EFZ) in civil engineering, building construction, or horticulture. Further training in your original profession, e.g. as a foreman, senior gardener, or a federal specialist certificate, is an advantage. Proven leadership experience is mandatory for this position. You hold a driving licence of category B/E. Your willingness to perform, a pronounced cost awareness, and your leadership and doer qualities distinguish you.

The implementation of municipal measures for climate adaptation in the management of green spaces, water management, and infrastructure maintenance is important to you, and you actively contribute to their goal-oriented further development.
