For our global headquarters in Pfäffikon/SZ, we are looking for an experienced individual to drive the establishment of standardised product testing within our project development. In this role, you define test standards and test methods, conduct application and system tests yourself, and ensure that our products meet the relevant functional, application-specific, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you work closely with internal departments and external partners and take on tasks in the area of product certification. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed Certification & Validation Engineer (80 - 100 %).

Your tasks

• Establishing and further developing standardised product testing within project development
• Developing test methods, test plans, and test criteria for new and existing products
• Defining, planning, and conducting application, system, and product tests
• Coordinating and accompanying tests and certifications with external partners
• Supporting and partially taking over tasks in the area of product certification
• Close collaboration with certification, project development, engineering, product management, and other departments
• Analysing test results, deriving measures, and documenting the outcomes

Your profile

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, or comparable (ETH/University/FH)
• Experience in product testing during product development in an industrial environment
• Experience with regulatory requirements and standards, e.g. Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive, PPWR, hygiene, IP protection as well as climate and transport tests
• Enjoy working with internal departments as well as external testing and certification partners
• Structured and independent working style, combined with pragmatism and a hands-on mentality
• Communicative, team-oriented personality
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
