Role:
Do you want to design complex cloud environments and develop technical solutions that can be operated long-term in a scalable, secure, and efficient manner? In this role, you will design modern cloud architectures based on Microsoft Azure and accompany their implementation from strategic planning to technical integration. You combine architectural expertise with sound infrastructure knowledge and ensure that cloud solutions meet both technical requirements and the needs of the respective organisation.
Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, and management of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerised applications
Automation of deployment and management of cloud infrastructures with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
Planning and implementation of scalable cloud architectures based on the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise Scale
Design and further development of Hub-Spoke network architectures considering security, performance, and scalability
Development of cloud governance concepts, security policies, and best practices for compliance-compliant cloud environments
Design and implementation of security and identity solutions with Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Architecture and integration of hybrid cloud solutions to connect on-premises infrastructures with cloud resources
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in cloud architecture with a focus on Microsoft Azure
Solid knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation
Experience with cloud governance, security architectures, and hybrid cloud environments
Very good knowledge in network design and management of cloud networks
Knowledge of Entra ID, hybrid identity, PIM, and RBAC is an advantage
Interest in AI-supported development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot is a plus
Ability to develop cloud strategies and architectural concepts and to technically accompany their implementation
Fluent German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
