You can contribute in this role
- As an authorised inspection person (certification), certify completed repairs and flight readiness, monitor checks, and manage the handover of aircraft to pilots (team leader)
- Carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing work on the aircraft and flight-relevant ground systems
- Implement configuration changes, adjustment and calibration work including payloads and sensors
- Prepare flight readiness and system re-establishment (including troubleshooting) and administratively plan and manage ground logistics
- Teach as a specialist instructor and maintain technical documents (in English)
What makes you unique
- Vocational training as an automotive mechatronics technician EFZ, automation technician EFZ, polymechanic EFZ or equivalent technical basic training, preferably with a specialisation in aircraft maintenance
- Self-responsibility and absolute reliability
- Open personality with enthusiasm for teamwork
- Oral and written knowledge of a second official language and very good English skills are an advantage

The Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence centre, the Special Forces Command, and the Military Police.
