System Engineer 80 - 100 % (m/f/d)

What you can achieve:

After familiarising yourself with the basics of our products, our development tools, and internal processes, you will test and improve electromechanical components and functions for customised systems and series products within a development team.

You ensure that the systems meet our standards in terms of quality and cost and maintain close contact with internal and external suppliers and customers.

Your main tasks include:

• Driving product optimisations of biobanking systems to meet the continuously changing market needs
• Developing, procuring, testing, and documenting new electromechanical assemblies according to Hamilton's innovation process within an interdisciplinary project team
• Creating requirements, test, and project documentation for improved modules in English
• Conducting simulations and analysing measurement data to derive well-founded conclusions
• Creating and improving installation, manufacturing, and service documentation
• Leading technical discussions with internal and external suppliers and customers
• Ensuring product quality as well as cost and manufacturing targets according to our high standards

What you bring with you:

• Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) in mechanical engineering, systems engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Creo Parametric
• Enthusiasm for robotics, automation technology, and innovative technical solutions
• Creative and open personality with initiative and enjoyment in collaborating within interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to analyse complex issues and clearly present corresponding conclusions to an interdisciplinary team and then implement them efficiently
• Independent, reliable, and structured working style
• Good German and English skills
