B&U Cell Lead (m/f/d)
Position's purpose:
To lead the Building and Utilities cell by governing safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective operations, maintenance, performance, resources, risks, projects, and emergency preparedness while developing team capability and driving sustainable improvement through Integrated Work System standards in alignment with site objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Building and Utilities Area Leadership and Performance Management.
- Building and Utilities Maintenance Governance.
- IWS Continuous Improvement and Capability Building.
- Planning, Collaboration and Operational Continuity.
- Building and Utilities Compliance, Safety and Management Systems Governance.
- Facilities Security, Fire Protection and Emergency Preparedness Governance.
- Building and Utilities Project, Audit and Visit Governance.
Requirements:
- Higher technical education at HF/FH level or a degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field; further education in business administration, leadership, or management is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, utilities, engineering, or production, preferably including team leadership. Experience in Building and Utilities systems, maintenance governance, budget and contractor management, safety compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement is preferred.
- Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of building and utilities systems, maintenance governance, and infrastructure services, with the ability to set priorities, manage budgets and resources, and oversee maintenance performance. Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI is an advantage. Knowledge of Integrated Work System, Kaizen, 5S, Total Productive Maintenance, and structured problem-solving is preferred, together with strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, and coaching skills.
