As an Intern in Biotechnology in Science & Technology of Givaudan's Taste & Wellbeing Division, you will support the team in the process development for flavour production. You will perform, characterize, and optimize bioprocesses such as enzymatic reactions or microbial fermentations at lab and pilot scale.
This internship is limited to 6 months and is based in Kemptthal. We are looking forward to your application!
Your responsibilities:
- Participating in one or more research projects for natural flavour compounds
- Planning, conducting, and documenting experiments from lab to pilot scale
- Preparing prototypes for analyses or tastings
- Evaluating data and presenting conclusions in project meetings
- Operating and maintaining lab equipment and reactors
- Collaborating with colleagues across different teams and functions
The profile we are looking for
We are looking for a graduate passionate about hands-on work in a lab and pilot plant setting and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment.
- Bachelor or Master in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or comparable field
- Passionate about bioprocesses and food
- Strong technical affinity and skilled in equipment handling
- Ambitious and results-oriented
- Curious to develop new and unprecedented routes towards technical solutions
- Ability to collaborate and communicate as a team player in a multicultural environment
- Good English and/or German skills
