Please read the General Terms and Conditions of your school carefully and contact the person responsible for the training cycles. Other schools are listed here.

Compensation for disadvantages

I have a disability. Can I request arrangements for the exam to reduce or eliminate this disadvantage due to my disability?

Yes, it is possible to request compensation for disadvantages. The procedure is described in the Compensation for Disadvantages leaflet.

Exam

Are edupool.ch exams recognised at the federal level?

The Vocational Training Act – under the supervision of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) – provides for the levels of professional certificate and diploma. The level of qualified employee is not included in this law. However, the training cycles for Qualified Employee offered by kv edupool conclude with exams held nationwide, under the patronage of various professional associations. Therefore, these are national and unified training cycles.

What advantages does the central kv edupool exam offer?

• Reliable certification of qualification, regardless of the school offering the training cycle.
• Admission to exam preparation for the professional certificate without a federal VET diploma (AFC) for commercial employees.

Can a pencil be used in the exam?

For this, please refer to the Exam Provisions (i.e. Exam Regulations, list of permitted aids and relevant provisions) of the respective training cycle.

Is it possible to bring notepads to the exam?

Please consult the list of permitted aids valid for the exam in question.

Exam results

When will the exam results be communicated?

The exam result will be communicated to you in writing within five weeks of the exam date.

I will be on holiday two weeks after the exam. Is it possible to receive the exam result by phone or SMS?

For data protection reasons, exam results can only be communicated in writing.

I would like to review my corrected exam. Is this possible?

The procedure for reviewing an exam is stated in the exam result notification. The exam can only be reviewed by candidates who did not pass.

Limit amounts

Can the limit amounts for the relevant social insurances be used in relation to the exam?

If necessary, they will be provided at the exam.

Registration

When can I register for an exam?

The exam dates are published on the kv edupool website one year before the exams take place. The registration period lasts six weeks. Registrations open five months before the exam dates. Schools are informed in advance about the start and end of the registration period.

How do I register for an exam?

Registration must be done exclusively on the kv edupool website.

Can I register for an exam after the registration deadline?

Yes, late registrations are accepted up to a certain deadline. An administrative fee of CHF 100.– is charged to cover the related costs.

I registered for the exam but did not receive a confirmation by email.

First, please check your spam folder. If you do not find any registration confirmation, please register for the exam again. When registering again, please note that you are already registered and must log in with the previously entered email address and password.

I registered for the exam but have not yet received the invoice.

The invoice for the exam fee will be sent by email with the exam registration. Please contact us if you do not receive an invoice.

Exam location

I would like to take the exam in the same room as my fellow students.

We try to ensure that a class of students takes the exam at the same location. Individual requests in this regard cannot be considered.

The exact details are provided to the registrant with the exam participation confirmation.

Illness

I was unable to attend the exam due to illness. When can I retake the exam?

The exam can be taken on the first official date on which the exam is held (see the Exam Dates section). Please note that the candidate must re-register for the exam.

Permitted aids

Can aids not listed in the respective list, such as the Code of Obligations by Navigator, be used?

No, no other aids are permitted in the exam.

Exam preparation

Can I obtain a copy of past exams to prepare?

Past exams are only made available to professional development centres. Please contact the relevant school for this.

Receipt

I lost the invoice. Could you kindly issue a receipt to attach to my tax declaration?

We will send you a copy of the invoice by email. Please inform us by email of the date and training cycle of your exam.

Lost diploma

I lost my diploma. Is it possible to receive a new one?

Yes, you can send a request to kv edupool. An administrative fee of CHF 50.– is charged for issuing a new diploma. Please send an email request to the exam officer specifying the training cycle and exam date.

Payment deadline

I did not pay by the deadline. Can I still take the exam?

Late payments are accepted up to a certain deadline. An administrative fee of CHF 100.– is charged to cover the related costs. The binding condition for participating in the exam is that payment is received by kv edupool by the new deadline.
