The Pouponnière and Abri Foundation aims to work for children and more specifically young children and their families, notably by welcoming them within its nine institutions: five child life centers (CVE), two emergency reception boarding schools, the mother-child educational reception (AEME), the meeting space service unit (UPER).
To temporarily strengthen our team at the meeting space service unit (UPER), we are looking for a 3 to 6 month duration:
Social Educator at 60%
Missions and responsibilities
- Ensure the protection and well-being of children aged 0 to 6 years, placed by the General Directorate of Childhood and Youth (DGEJ) or the Professional Guardianship and Curatorship Service (SCTP)
- Provide educational support to parenting for families, encourage and support the development of parental skills within the meeting space and/or at home
- Observe and evaluate, within the framework of parental visits, the relationship and dynamics between parents and the child
- Ensure the child's transportation between the meeting space and the parents' home or the foster family
- Work in a network with various internal and external partners
Profile sought
- Degree as social educator, childhood educator, social worker, or other Bachelor or Master related to the field of activity
- Proven experience in parenting support and visitation rights
- Knowledge of child development and observation
- Good personal organization, autonomy, analytical and synthesis skills, adaptability and priority management
- Excellent listening skills and empathy
- Driver's license
- Clean criminal record
