About the job
You confidently navigate the interface between technology and business because you truly understand both worlds. Whether system architecture, user stories, or customer conversations: you understand how systems are structured and what matters in implementation. Requirements engineering at a senior level means for you: reading code, understanding contexts, and actively shaping solutions. New technologies such as AI tools and agentic engineering are already part of your repertoire, and you want to specifically expand your knowledge in these areas.
Your tasks
- You take on professional responsibility for critical applications of our clients as a driving force from requirements to productive solution
- You know the architecture behind systems that you analyse and communicate with sparring partners such as development teams, architects, and decision-makers on an equal footing
- You manage the entire requirements lifecycle from needs assessment through analysis to solution design in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
- You identify and analyse business requirements and document them as user stories for implementation using agile methods
- You evaluate the use of AI tools and methods (e.g. generative AI, process automation) in the context of customer projects and support clients in assessing potential and risks
- You identify project risks early, define measures, and communicate these clearly internally and externally
- You conduct system tests to ensure the quality of the solution
- Besides your main role as a business analyst, you lead a maintenance project and coordinate the work internally and with the client
Our offer
- A dynamic working environment with a young and highly motivated team
- Various opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience through work on a wide range of exciting projects, clients, and technologies
- Attractive prospects for further professional and personal development with various internal career paths
- A flat hierarchy and a culture of collaboration across all disciplines
- The chance to change people’s lives by building great software
- Work-life balance (41 hours/week with flexitime, at least 25 days holiday), ergonomic and flexible workplace in a multicultural environment
- Interesting benefits such as: contribution to existing mobile phone or business phone, half-fare travelcard subscription and business travel by train in 1st class, attractive pension schemes, coverage of non-occupational accident insurance (private, worldwide), advanced daily sickness allowance insurance as well as fleet discount
Your profile
- Completed studies (ETH, university, university of applied sciences) in IT, business administration or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst or requirements engineer in IT projects, ideally in an environment with Java/SE-based systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills, combined with experience in supporting internal and external contacts appreciatively and solution-oriented
- Excellent ability in German and English to communicate clearly and convincingly (written and spoken), both in tenders and marketing contexts
- Experience with AI-supported business analysis (e.g. use of LLMs for requirements gathering, AI-based process optimisation, copilot tools in daily project work) and interest in agentic engineering
- Analytical sharpness, personal responsibility, and the motivation not only to accompany projects but to drive them forward
